Jofy:

Hello, everyone and welcome to the “Spiritual Teachers Of Our Time” Summit! I'm Jofy Imalive and I'm delighted now to be speaking with Lizel. Lizel, welcome to the summit!

Lizel:

Thank You Jofy! Thanks for having me, I appreciate it!

Jofy:

Yeah, it's so good to have you here! The first question that I have for you (and it's basically a question that I'm asking everyone) is how was your spiritual awakening process like? Tell me a little bit about it!

Lizel:

Oh man! Okay, so… My spiritual journey… okay… how do I… Well, I grew up in church. I grew up being Catholic and raised in the church, Catholic Church. Went to k12 private Catholic school, into high school, (private all-girls school, actually). And so that's just how I grew up. And when I went to college I was exposed to so many new beliefs, different

kinds of people, from different areas, different religions, beliefs, and it just opened my eyes. And I didn't really think too much of it, I just kind of took it as my time to explore and learn about it. But, it was more like, the space opened up for me.

When I turned.. let's see.. 30. When I turned 30, I had already finished grad school, I was working as an occupational therapist in the medical field. And working in that space I saw a lot of pain and suffering, in a space, that was supposed to be for healing. And I felt very conflicted going into work every day in that kind of environment… And feeling like I was there to help. That the people were so addicted to pain and suffering and taking their medications.. and all that stuff.. it just made me wonder what was really happening. And I realized that I was still surrounding myself with those people who were… I'm gonna say close-minded. They were just stuck in a way that they had learned - that one way.

And so actually I went on Instagram and I started searching for things like “open your mind” and “spiritual journey” and “law of attraction”. And I started seeing all of these quotes that really inspired me and made me realize that the world isn't what I grew up knowing, that there's actually more. And I dove in, kind of went down the rabbit hole and realized that there's so much more for me to learn, that I'm not exposed to where I am right now, in that city that I was living in.

I eventually became a coach, a life coach and actually became certified in life purpose coaching. And through that I started finding out that I was really helping people manifest the life that they wanted to live, so I became a manifestation coach and created my Instagram account now helping thousands of you out there manifesting love, abundance, joy, peace and just really… it's all personal…

So, that's my journey, really opened up with Instagram and so I'm really happy to be here with you sharing this story and helping others along their own journey as well.

Jofy:

Wow, that’s an amazing story! And it’s good to hear that, because both of us are sharing so much content on Instagram, and just to know that, you know, sometimes we're posting some quotes or some videos… And we know that those are really powerful messages.. but it’s very good to see that it can really change a life, just doing that!

Lizel:

Yeah, because our minds are sponges and it's our subconscious mind that takes up on everything. So, on a simplest thing like our Instagram feed, as you scroll through, your mind is picking up on the messages behind it. Whether it's in alignment with what you want, or just holding on stuff, on to the past, that other people are holding on to… So I think for me it's the… because I'm always on Instagram, it's really helpful for me, you know, surround myself with content like that.

Jofy:

That's why we should follow the right pages, because really… I read some quote, what it was saying… that it's, like, Instagram, your Instagram feed is like a vision board. So yes…

Lizel:

Yeah! I actually posted that recently! [Laughter]

Jofy:

One of the main things that you talk about is the law of attraction and manifestation. How can someone become better at using the law of attraction and manifest their dream life?

Lizel:

Yeah, that's a really good question. So yeah, law of attraction and manifesting they go hand in hand. So the way, like, the real thing of Law of Attraction is, if you're familiar with vibration and energy, everything's energy and energy is vibration, everything is a frequency, right? So how you feel, how you think, even… You know, the way you're standing or sitting - it's all energy. So just remember that. And when you are speaking, thinking, or moving your body in a certain way, it vibrates. I'm just gonna say here at this level [shows the level point] and while the law of attraction kicks in, and it attracts more of what it is, more of where you are, more of who you are. So, in order to get what you want, if you want this [points a higher level with her hand] you have to first shift up here, think higher, live higher, you know, stand taller and more open. And when you're in that space you will open up everything else that's up here on this level. That's a law of attraction. Kind of also law of vibration, too, when you look at it. So it's all about you and where you're at, that's what you're going to attract more of.

Jofy:

Absolutely. So it’s not only just about having a vision. It’s about embodying, changing your energy and vibrating at that level, yeah?

Lizel:

Absolutely! Because the second part that is, let's say, someone you know is here at this this level [points lower], but they want this [points higher]. So they can say, you know, for them, let's just say, “oh I want this car, and I want this girl, and I want this kind of money”, but there's a belief in their subconscious, something they picked in a childhood, or a past life, or maybe when they were still in the womb, in mom. And there's something in there that says that “I'm not worthy” or “I'm not good enough to have this” [points higher level] this is why I'm here [points lower level]. And so they use that level, that level of thought of unworthiness to stay down here, even though they don’t want that.

So it's about dropping that, letting it go, loving it and saying goodbye, so that you can rise up with love, with intention to come up here [points higher level] and know that you're worthy, and that you can have it. And because you already want this, because this desire is chained to you, you're worth it, and that you can have it… and kind of dropping all

of that unworthy yuck stuff, you don't need it.

Jofy:

Let’s talk about relationships. How can people bring that to relationships? How can they bring more awareness and have more conscious relationships?

Lizel:

The biggest tip for creating and manifesting relationships, whether it's love relationships, business, professional, social, family, whatever kind of relationship with other that you're wanting to create, it starts with yourself. Because you are the foundation of everything and everyone around you, so, when you can really step into who you are, and what you're here to do, you will attract and pull out the best in other relationships around you. So the first step.. my biggest tip is to meditate. To really create that meditation practice for you, because it's all about you.

Jofy:

And there are a lot of meditation techniques, a lot of ideas, and there's mindfulness, there's, like, Transcendental Meditation, what are some of your favorites or what would you recommend for someone that is just starting on this journey of being more present?

Lizel:

Yeah, there's two things. So the first is if you're just starting: you can do guided meditations on YouTube. That's really easy. Just give yourself a time to go through them, start with five minutes. The other tip that I can give for beginners is to realize that meditation doesn't have to be this big whole thing where you sit up with a pillow and surround yourself with candles and crystals, it doesn't have to be that. It's really just about tuning in, that's the main thing about meditation. So you can literally start with two seconds, five seconds. And it starts with your breath and noticing the air coming in through your nose and exiting your mouth - that's it.

Jofy:

Simple as that, perfect.

Lizel:

Simple as that.

Jofy:

One of the things that I’ve heard you talk about is how people can let go and need to let go of things. Can you talk a little bit about that?

Lizel:

It’s a good question! I've been getting a lot of that question on Instagram, because part of the secret to manifesting is being able to, again, create that vision, step up into that space, and then let it go. And when you let go, that's when you can create this space for what is meant for you to come in and fill in. So letting go is about realizing that everything outside of you - is not you. And then everything outside of you, because it's not you, is temporary. You are the infinite one, you are the creator, and just by bringing in anything that you have shows you just how powerful you are.

So realizing your power, not only in attracting what you want and also what you don't want, but you also have the power to let it go. Because when you let it go, as in realize it's not you, even beliefs, even thoughts, they're not you, they just kind of pass through… and you can take on new belief, and you could let go old ones. It's about bringing in more of what you want and what is more in alignment with you and where you're going and allowing what doesn't serve you to just kind of float away.

And acknowledging that what you, let's say, like in my story, growing up in the religious beliefs and, kind of, you know, in that box thinking and also in the medical field… Letting it be there and acknowledge that it was there for a reason in your life experience, to look at, and thank it for being a part of your journey, and then letting it stay in the past, which is already gone. That's a big part of letting go.

Jofy:

Yeah, absolutely. Another thing that I was gonna ask you: I know that you're going to start soon like a group coaching program, something like that?

Lizel:

Yes! So I'm doing a huge life transformation group, like, mastermind, or I don't like to say mind, because we all live through the heart, so it's more of a masterheart, where we can all collect together. I'm working with leaders, with healers, with other spiritual beings, who have special gifts that they either know or don't know of, and we explore those, so that they can really maximize the power and harness the power of their inner beings and share their light with the world, so that we can all move and grow together on this journey.

Jofy:

Beautiful. And for someone who's just starting on this journey, just give me like a small template, you know, just like five simple things that they can start doing. Like, should they start with the vision, should they also practice the meditation every day, should they…

Lizel:

Oh, okay. I would say the first thing that you want to do if you want to start creating this life that you love, that it just excites you every day… Is to… and I'm gonna say it! Is to clean up your social media feed! Really, like, conscious mind really grabs on to things you don't even know about, so start taking control of the life that you are living and clean up your social media feed! The Instagram, Facebook, whatever you're on, do that first. And then start creating your new vision for yourself. And when you make that list or paragraph, whatever it is, when you make that vision for yourself, make it in the present tense, because again, your subconscious is picking up on this, this not a “One day I will” list, this is “I am. I have” list, okay? And then, (we're gonna do five steps) so the third step is to meditate, really meditate, and this is you shifting your actions with your body, your physical body, also your emotional body, kind of letting that breathe, and also your subconscious, your spiritual body, giving it space to really settle in and help you create that list that you did in number two. So clean up your social media feed, create a list of your vision in the present tense, meditate, and then, number four is to love yourself! All of yourself, your past self, your current self, your future self, and anything that your self has created. And the fifth step of creating this life that you love, is knowing that your infinite, that you are here for a reason, and that anything and anyone that you encounter in this life, is just another page in your book, so keep going, don't let yourself get stuck, this is all just an experience.

Jofy:

Beautiful, love it. So yeah, we are actually coming up on the end of our interview. Do you have any final thoughts that you would like to share?

Lizel:

Oh… well, definitely follow me on Instagram! I love meeting you guys, this is actually how I met Jofy and the team, through Instagram. I appreciate all of you who are on this journey, who are joining the summit and wanting to discover more about yourself and your powers. What I want to end with today, is to just let you know, remind you: that you are powerful, you are Infinite, that you are loved, and anything that you're experiencing in your life is there for a reason, so love it all, love yourself, love everyone around you. we are all just reflections of who you are. So thank you, and enjoy your journey!
